Bright, colourful a little bit out of left field with a hint of cartoonism and a touch of ridiculousism. With a lot of imagination.
I paint mainly for my own enjoyment if people like my art it is a bonus.
In the past, it has always concerned me that my backgrounds were bland, since discovering the 'dirty pour' technique my artwork is taken on a new life.
I'm definately not into landscapes or paintings where a photograph would suffice. In my paintings I endeavour to bring a smile to the viewers face. For example, a kangaroo smoking a pipe or another one wearing a Army slouch hat or a Koala in a bandanna smoking a cigar or a Rabbit a little worse for with a black eye patch
I am a retired real estate agent, having had numerous businesses in and around Kiama in the past 50 years including electrician, real estate agent, squash courts, a printing business, a golf driving range, and sand art souvenirs.
I am a councillor on Kiama Council, now serving my 6th term, I bowl at Kiama Bowling Club Club.
I've been married 52 years, to Sandra we have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. We have lived in Kiama for 37 years and will never leave the best place in the world.
I have had 3 books published one children's book, 'Kiama Blowhole Cup' 2 novels 'Get Tank Laid' and 'Felix, memoirs of a cat burglar' and have almost completed my latest book 'Vengeance is Sweet'.
