About

I try to put energy into my artwork. I use combinations of bold colours and patterns to create happy bright busy artwork.

I try to let my imagination explode into my artwork and express what I might be feeling in that moment. I want to bring joy and happiness or just emotion out of each artwork.

The use of patterns are a combination of symbols used in many languages, aboriginal art is very symbolic and I love using some of those symbols in my art. I have developed my own style where I can incorporate subjects I love and through them with colours and subject matter.

I am a self taught artist so I represent me. Someone trying to create art with their feelings. I suffer from anxiety and depression and I used to doubt my skill as an artist. Now I just think its important to get your message across and that everyone, has a skill to share with everyone. Art is mine and I am proud to be constantly developing it and challenging myself with new mediums.

I have spent a lot of time volunteering with kids and the enjoyment they get out of making simple crafts is truly rewarding. Its not the money you take with you its the satisfaction that your art or gift brings joy to those around you.

I am a self taught artist who has always had a passion for art. I have been fortunate enough to have stalls in local market, fairs and charities. I have had solo and shared exhibitions in Wollongong galleries as well as SVES and now Imaginarium. I am mentor with young artists in a Shellharbour group, encouraging young people to express themselves through art. We all have our own personal journey in life and I think art is a great way to express who you are, or what you are trying to say. I dream of being a full time artist who is recognised by her bright and colourful art, and hope that i can bring people joy and maybe help people through their own struggles
