Studio Friday are a contemporary graphic design studio located on the muddy banks of Lake Illawarra. Specialising in brand development, logos and web design, Studio Friday operate with a strong desire for excellent design.

Breaking free of the corporate grind, in search of a more simplistic way of being, we translate our off-beat attitude into raw and refined design solutions. We are proud locals who love working with the local community.

We see design as a holistic process which is so important because it determines how a brand is perceived by the public. We take what our client is trying to achieve and make it a visual image to improve their positioning in the market place.

We believe open dialogue and collaboration with our clients is the key to lasting and gratifying projects. We are an intentionally small studio— each partner is an active practitioner and crafts the work we do.

After completing his Graphic Design Course at Shillington College Sydney, Jake began his career as a Graphic Designer at a street press publication. After 3 years he then went on to work as a Designer for a leading Sydney advertising agency. 18 months later Jake took up a design role within a non-profit. Lara obtained her BA degree in Marketing from Bournemouth University UK in 2004. Since graduating, Lara has worked in a marketing profession across the automotive, luxury travel, retail, financial and non-profit industries in both the UK and Australia. Jake and Lara's dream to bring their expertise to the local area was made real when they established Studio Friday.
