About

Kiama Art Workshops was created to bring people and art together in a warm and friendly environment. Rhonda Murray facilitates weekend workshops - anything from drawing and painting to mosaics and weaving, all in the local area.

Rhonda Murray is engaged and passionate about art and making it accessible to people from all walks of life. A resident artist for several years, Rhonda is skilled across a wide range of mediums. Her broad knowledge and enthusiasm has enabled her to source experienced artists specialising in different mediums to provide workshops in a diverse number of areas.

If you are an artist wishing to teach a workshop, do get in touch with Rhonda who is always on the lookout for new creatives, she would love to hear from you. Alternatively, if you would like to learn a new skill, check out the Kiama Art Workshop's website for a list of upcoming workshops.

Rhonda Murray has a background in visual arts, completing a Cert IV at Wollongong TAFE several years ago. Currently she is near completing a Bachelor of Creative Arts, majoring in Visual Arts (Dean's Scholar) at the University of Wollongong. Rhonda's philosophy stems from a deep desire and passion to share knowledge and skills to community members, whilst at the same time helping to promote local artists, and supporting their works in what can be a somewhat cut throat and competitive industry. As a visual artist, Rhonda has a love of anything creative but her passion lies in watercolours, printmaking and fibre art (at the moment anyway!).
