About

Artist Profile
I am an Illawarra-based visual artist working across mixed media, painting, resin, installation, and public art practices. My work explores themes of belonging, connection, memory, and the intrinsic value of overlooked people, places, and materials.
Working from my home studio in Albion Park, I create works ranging from intimate miniatures to large-scale public art installations. I often incorporate recycled and repurposed materials into my practice, reflecting my interest in sustainability, transformation, and the stories held within materials and spaces.
My background in education, leadership, and community engagement strongly informs my creative practice. Alongside my studio practice, I have curated exhibitions, facilitated workshops, activated public creative spaces, and developed open studio environments that encourage connection and accessibility within the arts.

Artist Bio I am an Illawarra-based visual artist working across mixed media, painting, resin, installation, and public art practices. I am particularly interested in creating accessible and welcoming arts experiences that encourage curiosity, conversation, and connection. I have exhibited locally, nationally, and internationally and have completed public art commissions throughout the Illawarra region, including projects for Shellharbour City Council, Shellharbour Hospital, Wollongong Arts Precinct, and the Ethel Hayton Walkway. Alongside my studio practice, I have curated exhibitions, facilitated workshops, and developed open studio environments that invite audiences into the creative process. In 2019–2020 I collaborated with Renew Wollongong to establish a public studio/gallery space that activated vacant retail sites through creative engagement and community participation. In 2022 I undertook an artist residency at Nobbys Lighthouse in Newcastle, developing a body of work later exhibited in Nelson Bay and Berry. My work has also received recognition through awards including First Place in the Jayne Wilson Memorial Art Prize and the President’s Award in the Postcards from the Edge Exhibition. My practice continues to explore relationships between scale, materiality, sustainability, and emotional connection through works that invite moments of reflection, curiosity, and belonging.
