Watercolour Portraits with Kathy Karas
Learn Kathy’s techniques in portrait painting in this two-part workshop.
TWO DAY WORKSHOP
Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th – 9am-12pm both days
- Sketching the portrait where Kathy will be demonstrating and guiding you on how to loosely sketch the big shapes, how to get a likeness and then block in using thin washes.
- You will be learning how to tonally resolve the portrait and build the layers to complete the painting.
Kathy will demonstrate step by step during the workshop and advise on the best materials and preparation for painting watercolour on canvas.
How to seal and finish the watercolour canvas.
You are welcome to bring your own materials and a list will be supplied on booking
