Drawing at the Gallery

  • This event has passed.

Join for 8-weeks or drop in weekly for a varied program that will support you to develop new techniques.

Every Wednesday, our artist-educators will guide you in drawing activities at either the Gallery, courtyard, or forecourt. Each week will be different stimulus – ranging from our exhibitions, through to a model (clothed), a dancer, or still life! We use different materials – mixed media, pencil, charcoal, oil pastels, and ink. We also like variety and together we are interested in creating a space that is equally invested in artmaking, as it is in relationships.

Please note:

  • Morning tea is available for the first 15 minutes and throughout the workshop.
  • Facilitation begins at 10:45 until 12:00pm.
  • All materials are supplied.
  • Drawing will be on A3 or A4 clip boards while sitting on stools in either the gallery, courtyard, or forecourt.
