About

I am a textile designer – I design and hand print textiles in an ethical and sustainable manner, inspired by our beautiful Australian landscape. My motivation stems from a deep love for nature combined with an ecologically sound philosophy of nurturing that inspiration, with love and care in return. When I work in my studio situated on the grounds of an old schoolhouse, I am forever inspired by our stunning Australian landscape that surrounds me. I work mainly with high quality linen for its strength and durability and its ability to be biodegradable and recyclable. My original designs are screen printed the old fashioned way by hand, using eco-friendly inks. Each print is unique, hand crafted and simple. If you are visiting some of our National Parks in Australia you might come across some of my work there.

My passion lies in design and I find the road the creative process takes me on both delightful and exhilarating, from the initial design plan to selecting fabrics, printing and finally photographing. I also love the challenge of working through different techniques to turn something into a successful art work.
