We're an active community-based, non-profit group of artisans who design & create beautiful hand-crafted articles. We share a common interest in preserving, practising & teaching a variety of skills. We are a group of men & women artisans who design & create beautiful hand-crafted articles. We share common interests in preserving, practicing & teaching skills of spinning, weaving, dyeing, knitting, crochet & related fibre arts. We are affiliated with The NSW Hand Weaving & Spinners Guild.
Our group began with a meeting between a local ministers wife & a group of interested spinners. Today we have 40 active members who spin, weave, dye, knit, crochet & felt. We meet on a weekly basis at the Berry School of Arts where we enjoy the company of like minded artisans, & happily share skills. Meeting days are Thursdays 9.30am-12pm.
