I am a South Coast artist who loves exploring ways we can connect , express and make sense of the world through art. I have a background in Fine Art, Photography and Art Therapy. I am drawn to the beauty of the everyday, nature, colour, texture etc and I tend to wander between drawing, painting, mixed media, playing with found/recycled materials.
My approach to art is curious and intuitive, I have a strong belief that creativity isn’t about getting it “right” but more about enjoying the process and discovery.
“Process over Perfection” is my motto !
The Drift Art Place came into being because I wanted to create a space to encourage people to “have a go”, get messy and discover that creativity doesn’t have to be complicated or something that you need to be “good’ at.
