About
My work is a journey into my mind, a way for me to unravel and express the emotions attached to trauma. Each piece has a free line flow that can reveal interesting natural aspects.
My artistic style extends from Duchamp where he notioned that anything can be portrayed as art. I use nature as my inspiration where elements experienced in nature become entwined in the bold line work in my pieces. There is also mix of expressionistic and abstract characteristics encapsulated within my style.
I am a recent graduate in Primary Teaching. After a relationship breakdown I turned to art as opposed to the bottle. I stumbled upon a hidden talent as well as a secret I had hidden; even from myself. I want to share my art to help other people who may be struggling with issues surrounding trauma and disassociation.
