About

Our sites are a haven for artists and creatives. Utilise our many options to bring your works to life and share them with our communities through workshops.

WorkLife is here to build community, enhance productivity, and restore your WorkLife balance.

When working from home is not working, our intimate coworking space, with 3 locations in Coledale, Picton and Berry, offers a welcoming alternative.

Just steps away from local schools, amazing stores, and our favorite cafes, we foster connections among our growing community. Our members appreciate the networking opportunities and the convenience of casual bookings for Workshop spaces, boardrooms and private offices—perfect for supporting local businesses without long-term commitments

Kate founded WorkLife in 2017 to create for herself the coworking community she so desperately needed to balance her consulting work in Sydney, with her local tree-changing life in Berry NSW. Since then WorkLife has grown to a community of 120 members across two sites- Berry & Coledale- with a 3rd site in Picton opening August 2023. Kate has recently completed a 2.5 year contract to launch the Investing in Rural Community Futures Program on the South Coast- a 5 year partnership between The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal and the Snow Foundation to strengthen local not-for-profit (NFP) organisations and ultimately enable them to thrive. Kate's background is as a consultant, connector and advocate who has worked with cultural organisations, not-for-profits and social ventures to increase the financial value of culture. Recently she has advised organisations as diverse as The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal, TEDxSydney, StartupAUS, The Chaser, The Planthunter, Grocon, PWC, The Art Gallery of NSW, The Future Directors Institute, The Architects Institute Foundation, The Victorian Pride Centre, Bundanon Trust, Underbelly Arts and the National Trust on business development, sponsorship and fundraising strategies. She is currently Co-Chair of Flexible Workspace Australia, a member of The Shoalhaven Arts Board and President of the Berry Chamber of Commerce. Previously she was a Director of Underbelly Arts, The National Trust of Australia (NSW) Art Month Sydney and the South Coast Tourism Board. Endlessly curious, she cares deeply about subjects as diverse as arts, the built environment, NFP governance and sustainability, digital culture, board diversity, building our regional economies, sustainability, saving the media from itself and social ventures. With degrees in art history and business, she spent the first 8 years of her career working for Sotheby’s in London, Hong Kong and Sydney before a range of senior business development roles with ArtBank, Bundanon Trust and Sydney Festival. In 2012 she began a 5 year stint as Head of Partnerships for TEDxSydney and set sail on her own entrepreneurial journey.
